You'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called Smith Lake near Mud Lake; some nearby water includes McKinzie Creek. And that's not all you can do here at Mud Lake. Near Mud Lake you locate a golf course called PLYM Park Golf Course, and Mud Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Crystal Springs Campground is a magnificent local campground. From a precipitation point of view Mud Lake is a pretty typical       site; most of the rain falls during September; February meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summertime highs here at Mud Lake get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 10's. Niles Inn & Conference Center is a fine place to get some rest; a great place to camp here at Mud Lake is Nub Lake Camp Grounds.                  This lake is so wonderful.
