Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a wonderful national park, and dry warm beds await you at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa. Mud Lake is a place with many visitors from Traverse City; glide       down the rapids of Boardman River in a kayak. All through the months of summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Mud Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
