If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. During the summer months at Mud Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Mud Lake.       Camping is available at Big Bend Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. If you need a location to stay Au Gres Harbor Inn is a splendid choice, and Mud Lake is not the only spot nearby, Duck Lake is a nearby lake. Mud Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
