Lots of folks from Allegan come to Mud Lake, and why not camp at Swan Lake Campground if you're here at Mud Lake. Mud Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Econo Lodge Paw Paw; camping is available at Fireside Campground. The snow is magnificent at Bittersweet, and you're perhaps       into lakes, Swan Lake is one of those nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Lakes are delightful; Lake Moriah is a lake that's in close proximity to Mud Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Timber Ridge. High temperatures at Mud Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Mud Lake                  overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
