     Tokiahok Head is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Mountain Lake; there's whitewater on Huron River - East Br. for all you adrenaline junkies. Dudley Point is rather near Mountain Lake, and Best Western Country Inn is a nice spot to get some rest. So many cool things to do here at Mountain Lake, too glorious to be true. If the weather is beautiful, you obtain a wonderful view of Burnt Mountain from Mountain Lake; Mountain Lake is a great place  
   to visit for more than one day, Michigamme Shores Campground is a great place to camp nearby. The yearly rainfall here at Mountain Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is April.
Summertime highs at Mountain Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's while the
 
               cold winter nights at Mountain Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Ann is next to Mountain Lake, and do visit Cedar Creek since you're here at Mountain Lake.
You're probably keen on lakes, Trout Lake is one of those nearby, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Salmon Trout River.
