Mott Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Dearborn Office is a great local campground; you need to stop at The Bluffs since you're here. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Mott Lake has it all. Skiing at Mount Brighton is one of those things you just ought to do, and since                  you're here, you could also check out charming Beach Lake.
