If you came to camp Mecosta Pines Campground is a perfect location to do that, and Quality Inn & Suites is a nice place to get some rest. At Morley Pond all through the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Morley Pond. A common amount of rain falls here at Morley Pond; September is the month that gets the

| | most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A great nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi, and lots of folks from Big Rapids come here. Skiing at Cannonsburg is one of those things you just must do. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail. Morley Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Buck Trailer and Camping Sites is a nice local campground, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Burley Lake is just a very
short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Pilgrim's Run Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time, and there's some flowing water nearby, Big Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
We do offer a car spotting service to take your vehicles down river while you boat, canoe, or kayak the river. We also provide transportation services for individuals and their own equipment for a reasonable fee. |
