There's so much to do here at Moon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Greenwood Acres is a great site for that. Moon Lake is a spot with many visitors from Jackson, needless to say you could also stop at Dollar Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Moon Lake highs are typically in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. All through       the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; overnight lows in the 10's for Moon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Jackson Travelodge is a good place to spend a night or two; if you've had enough of Moon Lake, Price Lake is nearby. You absolutely have to have a thing about Moon Lake.
