Go to Moon Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Super 8 Motel - Iron Mountain is a tremendous place to get some rest, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Bass Lake is just a very short distance away. Take a little trip to Twin Falls Creek while you're here at Moon Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Menominee River. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Norway Mountain; Twin Falls Dam is not far at all from Moon Lake.

Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows at Moon Lake through the winter mostly plunge into the-10's. Moon Lake is a spot with many visitors from Iron Mountain, and a good
location to camp here at Moon Lake is Rivers Bend Campground. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Iron Mountain, and playing golf is lots of fun at Timberstone Golf Course.
