Do stop by Weaver Lake right next door to Moon Lake, it's a charming lake; Three Braves Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. What a site this is for outdoors folks. A brilliant spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Moon Lake is East Race. All through the summertime at Moon Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Highs through the winter are regularly       in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Moon Lake. After a long day outdoors Niles Inn & Conference Center is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and Brookwood Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Moon Lake, you could also check out lovely Clarks Lake; Fuller's Clear Lake Resort is a good local campground. The annual precipitation here at Moon Lake is about average; September is the month that gets the                  most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
