Monk Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. All through the summertime months highs here at Monk Lake get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly       in the 10's with temperatures at Monk Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Concord Inn; whitewater paddling is great on Presque Isle. This lake is so wonderful. Holly Creek flows through this region; get soaked paddling on Ontonagon River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Alligator Eye Trail, needless to say you could also check out Summit Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.                  I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Monk Lake.
