Mona Lake

In this lake you can stumble on good bluegill, catfish, channel catfish, bass, black crappie, crappie, largemouth bass, muskellunge, muskellunge, northern pike, perch, smallmouth bass, walleye, white bass and yellow perch. Mona Lake is a picturesque 695 acre lake.

Some of the water nearby flows, like Black Creek; of course, everyone loves P. J. Hoffmaster State Park. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here
at Mona Lake. The wonderful people of Muskegon-Norton Shores like to hang out close by, and Mona Lake is next to Gold Rush Indoor Waterpark where you may have heaps of joy.

A public boat launch is located at the East end of the lake, just off Seaway drive. It has parking for about 45 trailers. Gas is available at the Mona Lake Boating Club, on the South side of the lake. Access to Lake Michigan may be possible through the channel at the West end. It depends on water levels and caution is advised. Check the marine report first and talk to boaters with local knowledge if you haven't tried it before.
