Why not take a refreshing hike along the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail; let's not forget Brandy Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Cadillac - Days Inn, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Cadillac here. A brilliant site to camp here at Lake Mitchell is Peterson Bridge S Campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Caberfae       Peaks is quite near. For the period of the warm months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Lake Mitchell. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows throughout the winter for Lake Mitchell tend to be in the 10's. You absolutely have to like Lake Mitchell. Take a hike on the McKenzie Ski Trail, and you can run the rapids of Pine River. Why not camp at Birchwood                  Resort and Campgrounds since you're here at Lake Mitchell, and obviously, this is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes, Gyttja Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Turnbolm Point is pretty next to Lake Mitchell, and hiking along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail is brilliant fun. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Lake Mitchell; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
