You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Minnie has to offer, you can camp at Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Marquette is a great site to spend a night or two. Paddling on Escanaba River - Middle Branch is so much fun, and there are swamps here too, Grass Lake is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night       at Country Village RV Park, and soar down the rapids of Escanaba River - Middle Branch in a kayak. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Marquette is in the vicinity of Lake Minnie; not far from Lake Minnie you'll find Lake Angeline which is a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Summit Mountain is easily observed from Lake Minnie. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Lake Minnie. Going for a hike on the Holyoke Trail                  is always a magnificent adventure, and Best Western Country Inn is a great site to get some rest. You're sure to encounter some great folks from Marquette here, and hey, Partridge Creek is a delightful local stream. Summer at Lake Minnie arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's while Lake Minnie nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
