Minnie Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Brule River, and the skiing at Ski Brule is great. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Minnie Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Minnie Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.

There's so much to do here at Minnie Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Iron County Pentoga Park is a glorious place for that. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Brule Mountain, and why not take a little journey to Wagner Creek since you're here. Nearby lakes? about the outdoors. This is a pleasant area for people who like lakes. Indian Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Iron River, Mi. The annual rain here at Minnie Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest.

That untouched beauty remains only in a few unique areas left over from bygone days. Paint River Hills is truly one of those areas.
The highlight of Paint River Hills Campground is its hiking trail along the Paint River. The loop trail, about half-mile long, winds through and around the rock bluffs and hills that form the banks of the Paint River and for years has been the playground of local youngsters. The name “Paint River Hills” is the term used by locals to describe the location of the campground. Youngsters have named other areas such as Peeper Hollow, Big Rock Candy Mountain, White Pine Lookout, Fairy Tale Swamp, Rock Fort, Thistle Swamp and Camel Back Lookout.
