That right there is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Gogebic Range has it all. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Big Powderhorn Mountain close by, and there are other spots here than Mink Lake, for example Bluejay Lake. At Mink Lake through the summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight       lows in the-10's for Mink Lake. Orchid Lake is a tremendous lake near Mink Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Planter Creek. Glide down the rapids of Presque Isle in a kayak, and Osprey Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. This place, Mink Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Mink Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Henry Lake Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and there is a great                  hiking trail close by called the Alligator Eye Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Mink Lake; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to the Gogebic Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Indianhead has nice slopes and a friendly staff. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mink Lake has to offer, you can camp at Presque Isle Campground.
