The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Miners Lake. You could also check out Two       Lakes since you're here at Miners Lake; it's nearby, and dry warm beds await you at AmericInn Munising. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Munising is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Mosquito Beach Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Miners Lake; Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail is a great local trail. Stay the night at Hiawatha                  Resort and Campground, and Miners Lake is not the only location close by, Swamp Lake is a close by lake. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Miners Lake. Miners Castle Point is around here and always tremendous to pop by; let's not forget Miners River which is a stream that you may come across during your stay.
