A swamp like Star Marsh near Miller Lake has lots of attention-grabbing things to see, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Basford Lake. For the period of the warm days of summer at Miller       Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Miller Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Miller Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pere Marquette Campground is a wonderful location for that, and Holiday Inn Big Rapids, Mi is a fine place to get some rest. And if                  that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in close proximity to Miller Lake. Go for a hike on the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Miller Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Star Trailer and RV Resort; hiking is a popular thing to do around Miller Lake; Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail is a good local trail.
