A great nearby hotel is The Weathervane Inn, and the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect spot to camp here at Mill Pond is Jerry's Campground; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Mill Pond; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest       month of the year is February. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Mill Pond. Why not visit close by Birch Brook if you're here at Mill Pond; enjoy a round of golf at Hickory Knoll Golf Course. Camping is available at Pines Campgrounds, and Mill Pond is not far at all from Muskegon-Norton Shores. Dowies Point is near Mill Pond and is a glorious spot to check out, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Whitehall is a wonderful                  place to spend a night or two.
