Econo Lodge Clare is a splendid site to get some rest, and Mill Pond is not the only site close by, White Sand Lake is a close by lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Chippewa River; needless to say Elm Creek       is a charming stream that is worth going to. There's so much to do here at Mill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Evergreen Acres Campground is a great spot for that, naturally you could also take a look at Wahl Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Mill Pond from Mount Pleasant, you won't be the only one, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Eagle Glen Golf Course.                  That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Mill Pond has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Clare Mi Days Inn, and if you came to camp Lake George Campgrounds is a nice site to do that. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Mill Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
