Kalamazoo River is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to Mill Pond, and a picturesque lake like England Lake is a good site to go to. Summer at Mill Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while Mill Pond overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Camping       at Mill Pond is fine fun, Parkside Park is a fine local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Gun Lake Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Shelp Resort is a good campground here; since you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Mullenhurst Golf Course. Mill Pond is a good location of common rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Bittersweet has glorious slopes and a friendly staff,                  and if you need a location to stay Plainwell Comfort Inn is a great choice.
