This lake is so wonderful. Erickson Creek is next to Mill Lake and is always a diversion to visit, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Beck Lake. Brule is perfect. A typical amount of rain falls here at Mill Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend
Sturgeon River, and Mill Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground is a brilliant local campground.
