Beautiful Middle Lake has much to offer visitors. Michigamme Shores Campground is a glorious campground here. The yearly rain here at Middle Lake is about average; during September this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Michigamme River, and while you're here, you could also go to

| | wonderful Beaufort Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn, and Peshekee River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Hilltop Motel is a nice place to get some rest, and Middle Lake is a perfect spot to camp, Silver Lake Resort is a perfect spot. Summer at Middle Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Middle Lake.
