This lake is so wonderful. Alpena Golf Club is a golf course close to Middle Lake, and a great                  nearby hotel is Barbarossa Cove. Camping is available at Campers Cove RV and Campground; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Devils Lake Trail.
