During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Middle Lake. Camping is available at Thunder Bay RV Park and Campground, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure       along the Norway Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Holiday Inn ALPENA; since you're here, you could also check out pretty Grass Lake. Middle Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Why not camp at Campers Cove RV and Campground while you're here at Middle Lake, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Alpena Golf Club. After a long day outdoors Best Western Of Alpena is a                  great location to spend a night or two. You'll meet a lot of folks from Alpena here; do take a hike on the Devils Lake Trail.
