Summertime highs at Middle Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Middle Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. A round of golf at nearby Shamrock Hills Golf       Club is a perfect way to kill some time. From a rainfall point of view Middle Lake is a relatively normal spot; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. A wonderful place to camp here at Middle Lake is Dumont Lake Campground; dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Sunset Motel. What a site this is for outdoors folks. During your journey to Middle Lake you'll meet some people from Allegan for sure, and Lake                  Sixteen is a glorious lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Western Michigan University is a pleasant choice, and the skiing at Bittersweet is nice.
