There's good hiking along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. If you came to camp Island Lake Campground is a great location to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore. While you're here at Mid Lake, you could also take a look at beautiful Coattail Lake, and splendid hiking is available along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail.       This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Townline Lake near Mid Lake, it's a pretty lake. There's so much to do here at Mid Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wide Water Campground is a brilliant site for that. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly abundant here at Mid Lake. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a very fine site to take a look at close to Mid Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail.                  Mid Lake is a good place of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Mid Lake through the summertime are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
