The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's       to Michigamme Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Michigamme Lake descend into the-10's. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Michigamme Lake. A splendid place to camp here at Michigamme Lake is Keyes Lake Campground; not far from Michigamme Lake you acquire some tremendous                  water scenery at Michigamme Falls Dam. Lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is close by, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Iron Mountain for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Michigamme Lake, you'll come across Montgomery Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Paint River. If you need a site to stay Budget Host Inn Iron Mountain is a magnificent choice; there's whitewater on Brule River for all you adrenaline people.
