This lake is so wonderful. McWatty Lake is not the only spot close by, Little Long Lake is a close by lake; don't forget to take a great little trip to Spike Horn Creek. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. There's a forest here at McWatty Lake called Airport Forest.       McWatty Lake is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Duggan's Canoe Trips is a fine location to camp nearby; Days Inn Clare is a perfect place to get some rest. High temperatures at McWatty Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at McWatty Lake are in the 0's. From a rainfall                  point of view McWatty Lake is a rather normal place; the wettest month of the year is usually September, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month.
