During the months of summer highs here at McIntosh Lake get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at McIntosh Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. There's so much to do here at McIntosh Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thunder Bay Resort is a wonderful location       for that, and there are other spots here than McIntosh Lake, for example Gifford Lake. McIntosh Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. If you come at the right time of year, Ocqueoc River offers some magnificent whitewater; lakes are such calm places, why not go to Upper Barnhart Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
