At McInnes Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; night lows throughout the winter for McInnes Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Byers Lake is next to McInnes Lake; why not camp at Wide       Water Campground since you're here at McInnes Lake. Near McInnes Lake you locate the Haywire Grade ORV Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Munising. Going for a hike on the Valley Spur Ski Trail is always a wonderful adventure. A journey to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is worthwhile, and AmericInn Munising is a nice place to get some rest. Just can't get enough of McInnes Lake. This is a magnificent region                  for folks who like lakes. Three Island Lake is a lake nearby, and swing by Grassy Creek it's a magnificent location to stop at. The amount of rain that falls at McInnes Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is typically September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.
