This is a popular location for folks from Muskegon-Norton Shores, and there's good hiking along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. Summertime highs at Mayo Lake usually tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. High temperatures                  throughout the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mayo Lake are in the 10's.
