An average amount of rain falls at Maynard Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. If you came to camp Golden Arrow Campground is a delightful place to do that, and going for a hike on the Devils Lake Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Summertime highs at Maynard Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. Daytime       highs through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Maynard Lake. Barbarossa Cove is a perfect place to get some rest, and if you get bored of Maynard Lake you could also take a look at close by Potter Lake. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Maynard Lake. Camping at Bullock's Paul Bunyan Kmpgrnd is always a good experience, and you can go for a hike on the Norway Ridge Trail. This lake is so                  wonderful.
