     If you need a place to stay Woodland Motor Lodge is a glorious choice. There's so much to do here at May Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River Park Campgrounds and Pond is a magnificent place for that. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Grayling, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Hanson Hills is rather near. For the period of the summer months highs here at May Lake reach the 80's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, typically  
   in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at May Lake through the wintertime commonly drop into the 0's. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Cranberry Lake next to May Lake, and Skyline Ski Slide is a pleasant local ski area.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything May Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hutt's Camp and Canoeing, and why not a little side trip to Bradford
 
               Creek. If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy May Lake. A scenic lake like Sand Hill Lake near May Lake is a perfect site to visit. An average amount of precipitation falls at May Lake; through September this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.

Twenty-three downhill runs wind their way through the majestic hardwood forest that covers the 400-acre winter park. Snowboarders are welcome at Treetops. They are allowed on the entire ski area and have a new terrain park with 12 features for their own private use.The new terrain park contains 2 flat 10' beginner rails as well as a 20' intermediate round rail. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail.
