     May Lake is a nice lake to visit. May Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground is a good local campground, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Rock River. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at May Lake. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a great spot to spend a night or two. From a rain point of view May Lake is a pretty normal location; the month with most of the rain  
   is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
During the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at May Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at May Lake are in the 0's. Very wonderful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Brule Mountain, and the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails is a splendid hiking trail nearby. This lake
 
               is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Ski Brule is a glorious location to do that, and there's whitewater on Sturgeon River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
A tremendous nearby hotel is Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn, and if you came to camp Perch Lake Campground is a great location to do that.
