If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Muskegon is a wonderful choice, and Martin Lake is not the only spot close by, Fremont Lake is a close by lake. A lake close by is North Lake; Martin Lake is right by the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Northwood Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Martin Lake, and the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime at Martin       Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Martin Lake are in the 10's. The amount of rain that falls at Martin Lake is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A quick journey to Bowman Drain near Martin Lake is a pleasant idea. There's so much to                  do here at Martin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Park Campground is a good place for that. You'll meet a lot of folks from Muskegon-Norton Shores here, and there's glorious hiking along the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. What a spot this is for outdoors folks.
