Summertime highs at Martin Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's; the night is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Martin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Martin Lake you stumble on West Moran Bay; do take a hike on the Horseshoe Bay Trail. Budget Host       Inn & Suites St. Ignace is a fine site to get some rest; hiking along the North Country Trail is delightful fun. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Martin Lake is peerless! Lakeshore Park Campground is a wonderful campground here, and a great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - St. Ignace. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mackinac Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; golf can be played at St Ignace Golf & Country                  Club. Moran River is next to Martin Lake and is always a diversion to have a look at, and you can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Nubs Nob. The amount of rain that falls at Martin Lake is close to the national average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
