Moran River is a scenic stream that is worth going to; taking a little trip to close by West Moran Bay is a pleasant idea. Man, is there heaps of amusing stuff to do near Martin Lake. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because St Ignace Golf & Country Club is around here, and camping at Lake Shore RV Park is always a great experience. Martin Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; most of       the rain falls during September; February is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Martin Lake while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Martin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lakeshore Park Campground; the Horseshoe Bay Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. There is a good hiking trail close to                  Martin Lake called the North Country Trail, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Mud Lake is one of those nearby. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Nubs Nob is right next door to Martin Lake; Super 8 Motel - St. Ignace is a good location to get some rest. Lakes are fine; Silver Lake is a lake that's near Martin Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Kewadin Shores Casino Hotel. This lake is so wonderful.
