Go for a hike on the Haymeadow Falls Trail, and you are close to Indian Point while you're here. At Marsh Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Marsh Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Marsh Lake without       first going for a hike along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Portage Bay State Campground is a great place to camp. Marsh Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a place to stay Gladstone Motel is a nice choice, and why not camp at Edgewood Motel if you're here at Marsh Lake.
