There's so much to do here at Marl Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Family Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and MAXFIELDS INN is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Mt. Pleasant, Mi is a brilliant site to spend       a night or two, naturally you could also go to Cedar Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. At Marl Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Marl Lake. You truly must have a thing about Marl Lake. Marl Lake is not the only spot close by, Rock Lake is a close by lake; you're sure                  to bump into some wonderful people from Mount Pleasant here.
