The amount of rain that falls at Lake Marion is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest. There's wonderful hiking along the Grass Lake Trail, and lots of folks from Flint come here. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this       place. Take a little journey to Duck Creek while you're here at Lake Marion, and this area is dominated by the Hadley Hills. Nearby lakes? Sure, Sawmill Lake is right next door to Lake Marion. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Waterford is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pine Nob if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the magnificent                  skiing at Mount Holly; close by you discover Pinnacle Point. Why not camp at Clear water Campgrounds since you're here at Lake Marion, and you get a great panorama of Hadley Hills from here. A great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Davison, and Hadley Acres Golf & Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by. Through the summertime at Lake Marion temperatures are regularly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's.
