The friendly folks of Marinette like to hang out nearby; after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By       Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a good spot to spend a night or two. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Mallard Lake. At Mallard Lake you can observe Bear Mountain. There's so much to do here at Mallard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crossroads Campground is a glorious spot for that. For the duration of the warm months at Mallard Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.                  Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mallard Lake dip into the 0's.
