All the outdoors entertaining things right next door to Mallard Lake will keep you coming back many times. Brule River is a great whitewater spot close to Mallard Lake; a lake close by is Runkle Lake. This lake
is so wonderful. At Mallard Lake you always meet someone from Iron Mountain; Paint River Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. During the warm days of summer at Mallard Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. For the period of
the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 10's; night lows at Mallard Lake during the wintertime usually dip into the-10's.
