You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lower Shoe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mosquito Beach Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lower Shoe Lake without first going for a hike along the       Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail, and popping by Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
