On a magnificent day at Lower Shoe Lake you can take a hike along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail; Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a very great site to visit. The warmest time of the year at Lower Shoe Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
