Lower Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. So much entertaining stuff to do at Lower Lake, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Springhill Suites By Marriott Grand Rapids North; after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Comstock Park is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. | | be without some skiing at Cannonsburg, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Grand Rapids-Wyoming. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a pleasant way to kill some time. There's so much to do here at Lower Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Duke Creek Recreation-camping is a fine place for that. is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside Camp Park is a pleasant local campground. It's a great idea to pop by White Creek, it's near Lower Lake; not far from Lower Lake you'll come across Upper Lake which is a
delightful lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lower Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Lower Lake.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
We do offer a car spotting service to take your vehicles down river while you boat, canoe, or kayak the river. We also provide transportation services... |
