There's so much to do here at Lower Eighteenmile Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Valley Campground is a great       spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Addis Lakes Ski Trail; Lower Eighteenmile Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Hovey Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground. From a rainfall point of view Lower Eighteenmile Lake is a rather normal site; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month.
