If you need a location to stay Otsego Club and Resort is a splendid choice, and Sturgeon River Campground is a perfect campground nearby. High temperatures at Lost Lake through the long summer days are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. | | Lost Lake. There's whitewater on Sturgeon River for all you adrenaline junkies; after a long day outdoors Treetops Resort is a fine place to spend a night or two. An average amount of rain falls at Lost Lake; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lost Lake, you'll find Hemlock Lake which is a beautiful lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Elkwood Campground is a delightful place to camp. | |

Treetops also offers extreme (snow) tubing. The tubing ride is available by 1.5 hour sessions for up to 30 people at a time. Advance reservations can be made for this exhilarating experience. Tubing is separate from the ski area and is available for a ''ride on the wild side.''
