This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Lost Lake. Cushman Swamp is a swamp right next door to Lost Lake, and don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. If you need a place to       stay Double JJ Thoroghbred Suites is a great choice, and Northwood Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby. Double JJ Log Homes is a tremendous place to get some rest, and why not go to close by Cushman Creek since you're here at Lost Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Lost Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August while February is mostly the driest month. You're sure to run into some fine folks from Muskegon-Norton                  Shores here, and there are other sites here than Lost Lake, for example Acker Lake. For the period of the warm months here at Lost Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lost Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
