     Lost Lake is a nice lake to visit. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lost Lake is close to the national average; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's some flowing water nearby, Cushman Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and camping is available at Oak Knoll Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Ramada Inn Of Whitehall, and going for a  
   hike on the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail is always a perfect adventure.
If you need a place to stay Best Western Whitehall Inn is a splendid choice, and swamps are interesting sites and Cushman Swamp right next door to Lost Lake is no exception. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you're here at Lost Lake and you like golf, you can explore Northwood Golf Course, and you can go for a hike on the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. Don't leave Lost Lake
 
               without first going for a hike along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail.
At Lost Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Camping at Hesperia Campground is always a great experience, and Lost Lake is not far at all from Muskegon-Norton Shores.
