Bear Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to; going for a hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Bub Lake is in close proximity, and nearby you hit upon the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail which is a great hiking       trail. This place, Lost Lake, it simply has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Lost Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, White River Roughing Area Campground is a good local campground. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lost Lake; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. During the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Lost Lake; during summer nights temperatures are                  in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Lost Lake tend to be in the 10's.
