The slopes of Cannonsburg are so inviting nobody can resist; if you've had enough of Lost Lake, Blind Lake is close by. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail. Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North is a splendid site to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Duke Creek Recreation-camping is a tremendous place to camp.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
