     The slopes of Cannonsburg are so inviting nobody can resist; if you've had enough of Lost Lake, Blind Lake is close by. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail. High temperatures at Lost Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the  
   winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Enjoy a round of golf at Whitefish Lake Golf Club not far from Lost Lake, and Lakeside Camp Park is a splendid local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly interested in lakes, Conover Lake is one of those close by; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Grand Rapids-Wyoming for sure. Lost Lake gets a common
 
               amount of precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest.
Yeah, come here to Lost Lake for a splendid time. Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North is a splendid site to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Duke Creek Recreation-camping is a tremendous place to camp.

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.

Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.

We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
