Camping is available at Iron Mountain Campgrounds, and there's whitewater on Paint River for all you adrenaline junkies. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lost Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for       you then we recommend Brule River, and if you're here, you could also visit gorgeous Gages Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Norway Mountain in close proximity; camping at Rivers Bend Campground is always a perfect experience. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Iron Mountain is a great choice, and why not take a little spree to First Creek if you're here. During the summer months at Lost Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the                  70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Lost Lake.
