Sure, Buck Creek Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Lost Lake is Tawas Creek Golf Club, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Alpena for sure. Tawas City Days Inn is a pleasant spot to get some       rest, as expected you could also stop at Wrights Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lost Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
